A good sample review connects the design you imagined with a specification that can be understood by everyone involved. The most useful feedback is concrete, measured and attached to a clear version of the brief.
Make references specific
When sending images, explain exactly what you want to reference. One image may show a sleeve shape while another shows a rib color. Avoid expecting the manufacturer to infer which details matter.
Measure consistently
Define how every measurement is taken. Record the sample size, measurement points and any agreed tolerances. A number without its measurement method can produce confusion.
Review the whole garment
Check the fabric, seams, trims, branding positions and finishing alongside the fit. Consider the garment’s intended use and care requirements. Any requested testing should be discussed separately and confirmed in writing.
Keep a change record
Consolidate feedback into one document with dated revisions. Resolve open questions and identify the approved reference before authorizing production. This helps prevent an earlier draft from being treated as the final brief.
